April Pottery to Go - Custom Design by You!

Mandatory: MUST have successfully completed the 577 Adult Pottery 6 Week Class to participate.

Celebrating its 2nd year of fun in this new format, this class allows students a chance to work from the comfort of their home strengthening their pottery skills. The only (mostly) limits are your imagination.

This class is designed to be what you want to make. Experiment with new forms, work out a pattern, or work on more labor-intensive techniques like sgraffito or coils. It's your clay to create what you would like.

Don't worry if you are stumped for ideas. Julie can provide you with videos from previous Pottery-to-Go classes like pinch pot animals, slab plates, coil pots, and more.

In this “work from your home” class, we will supply you with all the tools and resources you need to make this project: clay, pottery tools, drywall board, plastic bags, a few short videos if you choose, plus email support from Julie. Optional: underglazes are available for an additional fee.

Choose from two options for finishes:
• $25 class includes the supply kit. Choose this option if you own your own underglazes. Please note: For this Pottery-To-Go class, you will do your own glazing which should allow you to make more than the usual recommended four (4) to five (5) pieces.

• Optional Add-On to $25 class: $10 fee adds 8 small containers of underglazes - white, orange, yellow, red, blue, brown, green, and black. For this Pottery-To-Go class, you will do your own glazing.

**After registration and prior to payment being completed, you will schedule your timeslot for the pick up of materials on March 1. You can also set up picking up your supplies and dropping them off using your key fob, please contact Julie if you would like this choice.

Material pickup: Tuesday, April 2, 8:30am to 4pm
Return projects/materials: Tuesday, April 23: 8:30am to 4pm***

***Use your fob to drop off your work on your own up to April 23.

Please Note: This class no longer counts toward the three classes needed to keep Indie Time privileges.

REFUND POLICY:

Important Considerations: As a small non-profit organization, we strive to keep class sizes small and affordable. Please only register for classes you will be able to attend, and reserve cancellations for emergencies and illnesses. Even with the waitlist that we offer for most classes, when you cancel out of a class, the other excited potential participants may have made other plans because the class is full.

This refund policy was established to honor 577's Instructors, to respect the time and energy they invest in preparing for each class, and to encourage class participants to weigh their class registrations carefully and in balance with other potential participants.

If you choose to withdraw from a class, the refund policies are as follows:

Refund via the Original Method of Payment ~ Credit Card, Cash, or Check*:
>>> 100% refund with seven (7) or more business days’ notice prior to the start of class, less a 5% administrative fee.
>>> 50% refund with three (3) to six (6) business days' notice prior to the start of class, less a 5% administrative fee. (If we can fill your spot with another participant, you will receive a 100% refund, less a 5% administrative fee.)
>>> No refunds will be given for cancellations two (2) business days prior to the start of class. (If we can fill your spot with another participant, you will receive a 100% refund, less a 5% administrative fee.)

Refund via Household Credit to use on another class at a future date*:
>>> 100% refund as a Household Credit with seven (7) or more business days’ notice prior to the start of class.
>>> 50% refund as a Household Credit with three (3) to six (6) business days' notice prior to the start of class. (If we can fill your spot with another participant, you will receive a 100% refund.)
>>> No refunds will be given for cancellations two (2) business days prior to the start of class. (If we can fill your spot with another participant, you will receive a 100% refund via Household Credit.)

*Exceptions may be made to this policy in extreme circumstances. Please contact us to discuss options for cancellation in the event of illness or emergency.

**Once a refund is processed as a Household Credit, you may not request a refund via a credit card, cash, or check at a later date.

Donations: In lieu of a refund, you may request your registration fee be donated back to 577 to support future educational programming and a scholarship fund designed to make classes available to all.
