Worm Composting

Program is Full
Learn the art of using worms, or vermicomposting, to recycle your food waste into usable rich humus for your houseplants or garden. Help put water and nutrients back into the environment instead of taking up space in a landfill. Each participant will take and make their own vermicomposting bin, including a starter supply of red wiggler worms. There will be a drive thru pick up before class on Sunday, March 28 from 1pm - 5pm at The 577 Foundation. (details will be sent after registration.)

**PLEASE NOTE that there was a typo about this class in the Lucas County Soil and Water District newsletter that stated the incorrect dates. The class will take place on March 31, 2021, with materials pick up on March 28.**

Note:

This online class will take place on the Zoom platform. We will send the Zoom link 3-5 days prior, and again on the day of class. (Please be sure to check your spam folder if it appears you did not receive it.) We look forward to seeing you in class!
Cancellation Policy: Because we offer small class sizes, space is limited. Cancellations should be reserved for emergencies and illnesses. If you are unable to make a class, you can receive a refund if we are given notice before the class. A weeks notice is preferred.
